Wedgwood Majolica Vine & Basket Plate

Victorian, circa 1873. 8.9ins high, 8.9ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features vine leaves and grapes on a basketweave ground.

Colouration: green, blue, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1291'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1873.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

A few small flakes to front.

KILN EFFECTS: slight staining to reverse (is not present on the front of the plate).
