Delphin Massier Majolica Birds around Well Group

Circa 1880. 13.4ins high, 9.1ins wide, 8.7ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica centrepiece which features seven colourful garden birds, perched around a wishing well.

Colouration: cream, green, yellow, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Slight wear and abrasions to well and stone pillar.

RESTORATION. Two birds reglued and joins retouched.

Some retouched flakes.
