
Circa 1880. 3.5ins high, 23.6ins wide, 16.1ins depth. Sarreguemines Majolica wall plaque which features a scene of three partridges foraging for food, amongst wheat, oak and a pond.
Molded in deep relief. Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '571'.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to leaves.
KILN EFFECTS: faint shrinkage line to one bird leg.
