
Victorian, circa 1880. 15.4ins high, 9.7ins wide, 9.7ins depth. Copeland Majolica ewer and stand which features winged maiden to front, birds, snakes, foliage and vine fruits decorate sides and handles.
Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, yellow, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Copeland pottery.
CONDITION: Ewer: Generally good.
RESTORATION. Handle reglued in 4 places and joins retouched.
Spout and foot of ewer reglued and join retouched.
Stand: Good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to interior.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
