
Victorian, circa 1870. 31.5ins high, 17.7ins wide, 12.6ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica stick or umbrella stand which features a stork stood beside bulrushes, with a snake in it's beak. Colouration: green, white, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery.
CONDITION: Generally good. Small flake to top of beak.
Some small flakes to leaves on ground.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to end of beak.
