
Victorian, circa 1870. 7.9ins high, 10.2ins wide, 7.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica compote which features a pointer stalking a bird, under an oak tree.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: pink, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3265'.
English diamond registration mark for the date 02/01/1870.

Very slight wear to interior.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to tip of dog's tail and bird's beak.
