George Jones Majolica Cow Cheese Dome And Stand

Victorian, circa 1880. 9.1ins high, 12.6ins wide, 12.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features an overlapping leaf border and cow finial.

White ground version. Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.

CONDITION: Cover: Generally good.

Some small flakes to interior and exterior.

Slight wear to exterior.

Some limescale deposit in places.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing to top.

RESTORATION. Remodelled cows horns.

Stand: Good. No restoration.

Some flaking to rim.

Slight wear to interior.
