
Victorian, circa 1870. 9.3ins high, 20.1ins wide, 11.4ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jardinière which features a wicker basket, with a net and fishing tackle hanging on the sides.
Hanging fish and eels form handles at either end.
Colouration: brown, turquoise, grey, are predominant.
CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: firing crack to the interior;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION. Remodelled tail fins to the fish on both handles.
