George Jones Majolica Blackberry Planter

Victorian, circa 1870. 5.5ins high, 5.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica planter which features blackberry fruits, leaves and blossom.

Colouration: turquoise, pink, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '255'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Very slight wear to interior.

KILN EFFECTS: faint, over glazed shrinkage line to the rim.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
