
Victorian, circa 1865. 6.3ins high, 7.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features oak leaves and acorns and a snail molded on the handle.
Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '553'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1865.
CONDITION: Good.
Slight wear to exterior.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim just above handle.
