Mafra Palissy Majolica Fish Wall Plate

Victorian, circa 1890. 8.7ins high, 8.7ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features four fish and an eel.

Colouration: green, grey, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

CONDITION: Good.

Some small flakes to shredded clay ground.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to three tail fins.
