
Victorian, circa 1877. 9.8ins high, 12.4ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica bread platter which features a basketweave blanket to the centre, bamboo handles.
Colouration: ochre, cobalt blue, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2084'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground.
