Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1499'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.
CONDITION: Cover: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the inner rim.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack running across the centre.
Pot: Good. No restoration.
Small tight hairline to rim, only visible to exterior.
Slight wear to base.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to the brown enamel on the base.
