Holdcroft Majolica Quadruple Sack Posy Vase

Victorian, circa 1870. 5.5ins high, 5.5ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica posy holder which features four sacks tied with rope.

Colouration: green, cobalt blue, lilac, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Small flakes to rim in places.

Slight wear to exterior;

tiny glaze pops to some of the green glaze.

RESTORATION. Two of the sacks have filled and retouched chips to their rims.
