Joseph Holdcroft Majolica Swan Vase

Victorian, circa 1880. 12ins high, 9.4ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica vase which features a swan amongst lillies and lily pads.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, turquoise, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '421'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some small flakes to base

and rim of vase.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the cobalt blue, in places;

some crazing to swan's chest and vase interior.
