Minton Majolica Tavern Scene Jug / Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1869. 10.2ins high, 7.1ins wide, 6.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features drinking and dancing figures.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '467'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green enamel.
