
Victorian, circa 1877. 5.9ins high, 14.6ins wide, 13.4ins depth. George Jones Majolica strawberry server, spoon, sugar pot and creamer which features strawberries, blossom and leaves.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: cream, green, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3346'. English diamond registration mark for the date 10/03/1877.

CONDITION: Server: Very good. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: slight crazing;
over glazed chip to rim of one side dish and one leaf;
firing crack to the handle and one to the side.
Sugar: Very good. No restoration.
Creamer: Very Good. No restoration.
Spoon (sugar sifter): Good: flaking to rim and handle.
Some slight wear.
Staining to rim.
Please Note: although the spoon is by George Jones, it is not majolica glazed and probably a substitute.
