Victorian, circa 1857. 7.1ins high, 5.9ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features wheat and hops.

Colouration: puce, ochre, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '530'. English diamond registration mark for the date 09/01/1857.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1858.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to interior;

glaze run to some of the green and ochre enamel.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim and spout.
