
Circa 1900. 10ins high, 6.7ins wide, 6.9ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica spill vase which features a cockerel/rooster stood in front of the vase modelled in the form of corn.
Colouration: ochre, green, puce, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to underside.
Retouched flake to beak,
comb,
tail feathers
and spill rim.
