Large George Jones Majolica bird & pond lily jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1872. 11.6ins high, 13.6ins wide, 13.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière which features water lilies, birds (Reed Buntings), bulrushes and dragonflies.

Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3326 A'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to base and through foot rim.
