Holdcroft Oval Majolica Fish And Lilies Jardinière

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.5ins high, 18.1ins wide, 10.8ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jardinière which features fish, water lily and blossom moldings.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Small flake to one foot.

A few light scratches from use.

KILN EFFECTS: Small, 1mm deep pad attached under the two end feet, to prevent rocking, when sat on a flat surface;

firing cracks to the rim;

uneven glaze application to the ground.

RESTORATION. One foot reglued and join retouched.
