Pair of J.R.L. Majolica wall pockets which feature a bird perched on a branch above a woven nest.
Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the J.R.L. pottery.
CONDITION: Wall pocket 1: Good.
Small flakes to branch and rim of nest.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chip to one leaf.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to bird's tail feathers and one leaf.
Retouched flakes to leaves.

RESTORATION. Filled and retouched chips and flakes to leaves.
Tip of bird's tail feather and beak reglued.
