
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.7ins high, 10.2ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a spaniel, recumbent directly on the ground, no base.
Black and white version. Dull gilt collar and locket. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to paw.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the spaniel;
shrinkage line to base on right front paw;
shrinkage lines along the mold joins.
