
Victorian, circa 1860. 15.7ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure with a military theme which features a soldier with a gun, a drum and a flag, stood on a shaped base.
The piece is titled, 'WAR' .
Dull gilt titles and embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Some small flakes to his hat.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines to the mould joins;
shrinkage crack to the ground;
touch mark to the reverse.
