Small Staffordshire Lustre Hen on Nest Tureen

Victorian, circa 1870. 4.5ins high, 5.3ins wide, 4.1ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery egg tureen and cover which features a hen sitting on her eggs, seated on a basketweave oval base. Lilac lustre version.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

CONDITION: Hen: Very good. No restoration. Slight wear to rim.
