
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.9ins high, 8.3ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery tureen with cover which features a hen with chicks under her wing, seated on an oval basketweave tureen base.
Multi-coloured version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
CONDITION: Hen: Good. No restoration.

Shallow chip to inner rim and bruise to exterior.
