Staffordshire Pearlware Cockerel/Rooster Figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 9.1ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features a cockerel/rooster, stood on a circular base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

A couple of small flakes to lower base edge.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to both ankles and stump where cockerel has been off.

Two filled chips to comb.

Retouched paint losses to tail, feet and ground.
