
Victorian, circa 1860. 5.3ins high, 2.2ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery porcellaneous figure with a royalty theme which features
Queen Victoria, stood on a circular base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to the dress hem.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the base front;
shrinkage crack to the interior;
stained crazing to the interior (perhaps from use as a candle snuffer).
