Small Mafra Majolica Palissy Fish & Eel Plate

Circa 1890. 4.7ins high, 4.7ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features two fish and an eel.

Colouration: green, brown, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

Some flakes to green shredded clay and footrim.

RESTORATION. A few small retouched chips and flakes.
