
Circa 1890. 13ins high, 13ins wide, 3ins depth. School of Paris French Palissy Majolica wall plate which features three fish (pike, perch, carp), a snake, a lizard, a frog, shells, a moth and leaves.
Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.
No maker's marks, but probably by Thomas Sergent.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Chip to the end of the snake tail.
Small flake to fish's fin.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
