Thomas Sergent Majolica Palissy Fish Platter

Victorian, circa 1875. 7.9ins high, 11.6ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Thomas Sergent French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features a fish (a Perch), lizard, snake and seashells. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to leaf on ground.

Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
