
Victorian, circa 1860. 14.6ins high, 9.1ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica ewer which features a central barrel decorated with fruiting grape vines and four putti seated around a tapered neck.
Colouration: green, cream, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '900'.
Artist, Hughes Protat, initials (HP) signed below the handle.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to one putti's face.
RESTORATION. Part of foot reglued and join retouched.
