Pair Minton Majolica Berry & Blossom Vases with Handles

Victorian, circa 1879. Tallest is 8.3ins high, 4.3ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica vases which feature leaves, flowers, berries and a branch handle (one vase has blackberries, the other has hawthorn).

Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2200'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.

CONDITION: Vase 1: Good.

Minor chips and flakes to leaves and petals.

RESTORATION. Retouched chip to foot rim.

Vase 2: Good.

Minor chips to leaves.

Bruise to foot rim.

RESTORATION. Retouched chip to rim.
