
Victorian, circa 1885. 9.8ins high, 9.8ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features a central well surrounded by small ochre flowers. Six small and one large shell shaped well around the rim.
Colouration: turquoise, cobalt blue, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2239'.
CONDITION: Good.
Small, shallow under-rim chip, only visible to reverse.
KILN EFFECTS: speckling of turquoise glaze to some of the wells.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to rim.
