Wedgwood Majolica Daisy Butter Dish, Stand and Cover

Victorian, circa 1868. 3.9ins high, 7.9ins wide, 7.9ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica butter dish which features daisies. Cobalt blue ground version.

Colouration: white, ochre, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. English diamond registration mark

for the date 29/10/1867. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1868.
