
Victorian, circa 1876. 6.9ins high, 7.5ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Mintons Majolica jug/pitcher which features oak leaves and acorns to the sides and a snail to the handle. Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mintons pottery. Bears a pattern number, '553'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1876.
CONDITION: Generally good. Wear to the high points of the molding.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
