Minton Majolica Oak and Acorn Vase

Victorian, circa 1867. 4.9ins high, 6.3ins wide, 5.7ins depth. Minton Majolica vase which features acorns & oak leaves.

Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1226'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Very slight wear to exterior of vase.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along one mold join.

RESTORATION. Section of base reglued and joins retouched.
