English Majolica Jardinere (BWM?)

Victorian, circa 1875. 14.2ins high, 16.9ins wide, 16.9ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica jardinière which features decorative panels around the sides and a band of wheat around the foot.

Colouration: turquoise, ochre, white, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Some small flakes to the beading.

Scratches from use.

KILN EFFECTS: firing holes to the inner rim.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim, which extends half way down the side.

Filled chip to rim.
