Menton Majolica Oranges Wall Plate

Circa 1880. 11ins high, 11ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Menton Majolica wall plate which features oranges, leaves and flowers.

Colouration: turquoise, orange, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Menton pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some small flakes to leaves.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green and brown glaze;

shrinkage line in the middle of the plate (shows front and reverse).
