
Victorian, circa 1876. 3.3ins high, 10.6ins wide, 10.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica strawberry server which features flowers forming the sugar and cream bowls, branch handle and lily and strawberry ground.
Colouration: green, turquoise, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3501 80'.
English diamond registration mark for the date 19/01/1876.
CONDITION: Good.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
Some lime leaching in places.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to petal.
Retouched flake to rim.
