George Jones Majolica Jungle Leaves Plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.7ins high, 8.7ins wide, 1.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features a variety of jungle leaves to the border. Colouration: green, turquoise, brown, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '3230'.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Almost nil wear. KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the rim;

stilt marks to the underside, one causing a slight flake to the rim.
