Gustafsberg Majolica Tabby Cat Jug

Victorian, circa 1877. 9.4ins high, 3.9ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Gustafsberg Majolica jug/pitcher which features a tabby cat with a mouse trapped under it's paw.

Colouration: brown, white, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustafsberg pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Slight wear to handle.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
