
Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 8.3ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Majolica vases which feature a bird, perched on a wheatsheaf, with flowers.
Colouration: ochre, turquoise, red, are predominant.
CONDITION: Vase 1: Good. No restoration. Two hairlines to rim.
Small chips and flakes to lower base edge, bird's tail and beak.
KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior.
Vase 2: Good. No restoration. Small shallow chip to underside of base.
