
Circa 1900. 7.9ins high, 6.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica posy holder which features a flower (pansy) with the center hollowed out to form the vase. Colouration: pink, purple, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery. Bears a pattern number, '5'.
CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the reverse;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the petals.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to foot rim.
Retouched flakes to centre of flower, rim of flower, on to reverse on rim and to base edge at the reverse.
