
Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 6.3ins high, 6.1ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Holdcroft Majolica posy holders which feature a dove perched on a branch, with a flower bud strapped to it's back forming the vase.
Colouration: grey, green, ochre, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '275'.
CONDITION: Vase 1: Generally good.
RESTORATION. Left wing and beak reglued and joins retouched.
Filled chip to end of tail.
Three filled chips to rim of vase.
Vase 2: Good.
Small flake to ochre ribbon.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the tail.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to beak.
