George Jones Majolica Blue Tit & Blossom Jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1870. 10.4ins high, 11.8ins wide, 11.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière which features blue tits (popular British garden bird) amongst pink blossoming branches.

Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, pink, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '5262 30'.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Wear to interior.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to one side.

Stabilised hairline to rim.
