Pair Staffordshire flower basket spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. 7ins high. Pair Staffordshire seated spaniels both holding a basket of flowers in their mouth.



Decorated with feathered russet markings to body.





Well modeled. Small vent hole to reverse and underside.




Condition

Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Some paint losses to ears of both.











Kiln effect: shrinkage crack to the back of left facing.



Retouched eyes to right facing.
