Minton Secessionist No.72 jardiniere and stand.



Decorated with stylized green leaves, white and ochre flowers, and olive green tube lining on red ground.



Pale yellow interior to jardiniere with three stilt marks at the base.



Yellow underside with three stilt marks, printed maker's marks 'MINTONS LTD No.72' and impressed maker's marks including 'MINTON', '13' and date cipher for 1911.









Olive green glaze with drainage hole to top of stand.



Ochre interior with printed maker's marks 'MINTONS LTD No.72' and impressed maker's marks including 'MINTON', '13' and date cipher for 1909.

Condition

Generally good. No restoration.

Jardiniere: Tight crack to rim.





Wear to interior and exterior.









Kiln effects: glaze pops around the rim;





heavy crazing and some stray green glaze to interior.





Stand: Crack with two small associated chips to the top.





Shallow chip to underside.



A few flakes around the base.





Wear to the top and exterior.













Kiln effect: some breaks to the tube lining.
