Victorian, date cipher for 1867. 7ins high by 6.5ins wide. Minton Majolica cobalt bulrush/cattail jardiniere. Minton Majolica square jardiniere decorated with turquoise ground and a bulrush/cattail at each corner. Ochre border around the rim.



Pink interior with drainage hole to base.



Three stilt marks and impressed and painted maker's marks, including impressed date ciper for 1867 to base.

Condition

Generally good.

Tight hairline to rim.





Wear to 3 sides on the interior.





Very slight wear to bulrushes/cattails.

Kiln effects: few small firing pits to bulrushes/cattails;





tiny glaze pops to the interior.



Two restored chips and repaired hairlines to rim.
