Embroidered Silkwork Picture of Judar and Tamar. Framed in an old wood frame with rippled, old glass. Tacked to linen with wood and brown paper backing. The embroidery is worked in silk and cotton on linen ground, in a variety of stitches. Pictorial scene of Judar and his disguised daugher-in-law, Tamar. He is depicted, giving her a ring, a staff and a bracelet. Handpainted to the background, their faces, hands and feet.
